Providing data management consulting services to a leading US based media company. The company required visibility across the majority of its disparate ERP systems and data warehouses.
Due to continuing M&A activities this could not easily be done with the available resources across the group.
The objective was to integrate the relevant data from all disparate systems and prepare a consolidated set of data that could be used for in-house BI reporting teams. The raw data was in multiple language, scripts and of varying levels of completeness.
Moving from a fragmented worldview to a consolidated and trusted data set, allowed the business to report accurately and in a timely manner across the conglomerate.
This data was continually updated to an agreed dynamic schedule, to meet extensive reporting requirements.
Automated support functions were established in order to continuously monitor and manage the data extraction, integration and preparation processes.
